Gamma goes Platinum at Comms Vision 2010

Gamma Telecom has signalled its intention to step up a gear by going Platinum at Gleneagles this year, reports CVC Event Content Director John Chapman.

Gamma Telecom has sponsored the Comms Vision Convention since its inception, but this year Gamma has stepped up its involvement in the event by becoming a Platinum level sponsor. "We have supported Comms Vision for the last four years because each year it has passed our test for Return on Investment," commented Richard Bligh, Marketing Director at Gamma Telecom. "We decided to up our sponsorship involvement because we are confident about the event and we are ready to make a bigger splash in the marketplace."

Delegates who have attended previous Comms Vision events have enjoyed the highest quality of accommodation and service in the breathtaking surroundings of Gleneagles. But, it is the event content and the quality of meetings which makes Comms Vision so very special. Bligh concurs: "Comms Vision is special. The quality of content delivered by all the speakers, and the opportunity to debate issues raised by them makes for a rewarding event for all participants. However, what makes it worthwhile at a business level is the ample opportunity provided to meet and network with the directors of the UK's top channel companies."

Bligh believes that the essence of the event is the intermingling of reseller principals and vendor executives discussing how they can develop profitable business relationships. And CVC's recipe of debate orientated seminars, served alongside private boardroom sessions and pre-arranged meetings, has proved to be a great catalyst in building these relationships.

Comms Vision has, over the years, been the event sponsors have chosen to present fresh and innovative solutions for the channel. Bligh explains: "Comms Vision has the audience that understands innovation and opportunity, so this year we will showcase two products that have been successful over the last six months and which play towards the move to cloud-based services."

Comms Vision is a great event for sponsors and attendees for networking and building relationships, however, one of the main ingredients for all is the thought leadership content. In the next issue of Comms Dealer, I will provide a taster of what this year's content is going to cover.
