STL staff cycle to cut a kilo of CO2

Green minded STL Communications staff cycled, walked or car shared to work on June 4th to mark World Environment Day, while others recycled cans, bottles and planted a tree. STL was supporting The Carbon Neutral Company's Cut a kilo of CO2 day.

Brendon Cross, STL's MD, cycled six miles to work along with Sales Director Phil Donigan, who commented: "The ride made me realise that I should cycle more often. This was a fun way to help the environment and to remind all STL staff that we can all try harder to be greener. The environment is a key part of STL's ethos."

STL has helped over 500 customers offset their carbon phone print using its GreenMinutes, a carbon neutral telephone call initiative. As an organisation, STL has a strong environmental ethos and has actively made significant changes to business procedures so that they operate in a more environmentally friendly way whenever possible.
