Avnet Technology Solutions has signed a distribution agreement with Sourcefire. Under the agreement, Avnet will provide the Sourcefire 3D System.

Avnet's expertise in networking and security solutions, combined with Sourcefire's proven technology, will help partners transform the way their commercial and public sector companies manage and minimise network security risks. By providing additional sales, marketing, technical and support services, Avnet gives Sourcefire partners the resources they need to expand their security offerings. In addition Avnet will enable a broader channel providing smaller, traditionally untapped partners access to Sourcefire's unique solution set.
