The Comms Dealer Sir Trevor Brooking Golf Day raised a record £17,000 for the Sparks children's charity and was voted a swinging success by main sponsor Opal.

Industry teams that took part alongside Opal included Ampito, Griffin, Oak, Avanquest, Universal, Gamma, Freedom, Alcatel-Lucent and Channel Telecom who sponsored the hole-in-one challenge.

"It was a fantastic day and the feedback from our partners has been amazing," said Andy Hollingworth, Head of Wholesale at Opal.
