Andrew Saunders, Head of Product Management and Marketing at Zen Internet, has been voted one of the Top 100 Marketers in the North West.
How-Do's Top 100 Marketers has been produced with the support of Delineo, Vision+Media and the Chartered Institute of Marketing. The judging criteria included the size, market presence and position of the marketers' companies, budget, past record and experience, current demonstrable achievements, regional involvement and ability to innovate.
Saunders joined Zen's senior management team in 2009 and brought an increased focus on the development of services for business customers, introduction of new voice centric services and raising the profile of Zen's wider product portfolio.
Immediately prior to joining Zen, he worked for a WiMAX Fixed Wireless Access provider, other previous experience also includes time with, Mitel, Samsung and Avaya, where he was responsible for their award winning SME business communications products.
Saunders said: "I am both delighted and surprised to be voted one of the Top 100 Marketers in the North West and would like to thank the sponsors, judges and the How-Do readers."
Nick Melvin, Managing Director, Delineo, said: `"The North West is home to a substantial number of quality marketers working for outstanding companies and organisations. Such compilations of top marketers are regularly compiled in the national marketing trade press but in common with most such UK initiatives, the focus always ends up on those individuals based in London and the South East. How-Do's Top 100 marketers shine a welcome light on those individuals who are making outstanding contributions regionally, nationally and internationally."
'There's no getting away from the fact that for more and more business users their mobile device has become the comms tool of choice.'
Alan Reeve, Managing Director, Aastra UK and Ireland
